Ingredients
Dough
- Plain flour 2 cups
- Instant yeast 1 tbsp
- Luke warm Milk 1 cup
- Oil 1 tbsp
Filling
- Butter 2 tbsp (room temperature)
- Cinnamon powder 2 tbsp
- Sugar 4 tbsp
Topping
- Condensed Milk
Preparation
- In a micing bowl, add plain flour and yeast. Mix well.
- Add luke warm water and knead into a soft dough. If the dough is not soft enough, you can add 2-3 tbsp of milk.
- Knead the dough for 7-8 minutes until smooth and lump free.
- Shape into a ball and apply oil all over.
- Cover and Allow to rise until doubled in size.
- Now take the dough out on a counter and using a rolling pin, roll into 1/2 cm thick rectangle.
- In a small bowl mix together butter, cinnamon powder and sugar.
- Apply this paste on the dough and roll the dough into a log.
- Cut the log into 1 inch thick pieces and place on a baking tray 1 inch apart.
- Cover with a cloth and allow to double in size again.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200C for 12-14 minutes.
- Take out and pour condensed milk over the rolls.
- Enjoy!
