Anghara Kebabs

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken 1 kg, cut into 1.5 inch cubes
  • Whole red chilies 5-6
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika powder or Kashmiri red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Tandoori masala 1 tsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Coconut powder 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 2 tbsp
  • Garlic powder 2 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Boil red chilies in water for 4-5 minutes until soft.
  2. Take out and mash to form paste.
  3. Add to a bowl along with all the marinade ingredients.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add chicken pieces, mix and marinate  for at least 30 minutes or even overnight.
  6. Arrange on skewers and grill them either in a grilling pan or the coals.
  7. Enjoy!
