Apple Cakes for Breakfast

Ingredients

  • Instant Oats 1/2 cup (I used Quaker oats)
  • Thick yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Apple 1 big
  • Oil for greasing the pan
  • Sugar 1 tbsp or to taste

Preparation

  1. In a chopper, add oats, yogurt, egg, baking powder and vanilla essence.
  2. Peel the apple and chop into thin pieces.
  3. Add the apple pieces to the oats batter. Mix and keep the batter aside for 5-10 minutes until the batter becomes a little thick.
  4. Now add sugar and mix using a spoon.
  5. Grease a pan and place dallops of the batter on the pan and allow to cook on low flame.
  6. Flip after 2-3 minutes and cook on the other side,
  7. Drizzle with some honey and serve with tea or coffee.
  8. Enjoy!
