Asian Glazed Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs (with bone and with skin) 1 kg
- Vinegar 1/3 cup
- Soy sauce 1/4 cup
- Brown Sugar 2 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1 tbsp, grated
- Ginger 1 tbsp, grated
- Chili sauce to taste (I used only 2tbsp)
- Salt to taste
- Water 1/4 cup
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 220*C.
- Mix all the ingredients and cook the marinade until thickened.
- Defrost the chicken thighs. Place in a baking dish skin side down and pour the marinade.
- Bake at 220*C for 30 minutes.
- Now flip the thighs and again bake for 15 minutes or until completely cooked. Lastly, turn on the upper rod and broil the thighs for 5 minutes until the skin is brown and crisp.
- Serve with mango and lime rice.
