Beetroot and Turnip Pickle
Ingredients
- Beetroot 2-3 grated
- Turnip 1, cut into strips
- Vinegar 1/2 cup
- Water 2 cups
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- In a pot add water, vinegar and salt.
- Bring to boil.
- Turn off the flame and allow the steam to escape.
- In a pickling jar or mason jar add the beetroots and the turnips.
- Pour the pickling liquid over it.
- Keep the lid open and allow to come to room temperature.
- Now close the lid and refrigerate.
- Pickle is ready after 1 day.
- Use within 3 weeks.
