Blueberry Pancakes

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 2 cups
  • Baking powder 4 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar 4 tbsp
  • Egg 1, whisked
  • Milk 1.5 cups
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Oil for cooking
  • Blueberries as needed

Preparation

  1. Sift the all purpose flour and the baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add salt and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add whisked egg and milk and mix to form a smooth batter.
  4. Batter should be thick like a cake batter.
  5. Heat the skillet on low flame.
  6. Apply oil on the skillet using a brush.
  7. Pour the pan cake batter little by little to make small pancakes.
  8. Arrange 3 blueberries on top.
  9. Cover and cook on low flame until you see bubble on the surface and also the surface is not shiny anymore.
  10. Flip the pancakes, cover and cook for few more seconds.
  11. Serve immediately, topped with chocolate syrup, honey, maple syrup or whipped cream.
  12. Enjoy!
