Ingredients
- All-purpose flour 2 cups
- Baking powder 4 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Sugar 4 tbsp
- Egg 1, whisked
- Milk 1.5 cups
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Oil for cooking
- Blueberries as needed
Preparation
- Sift the all purpose flour and the baking powder in a mixing bowl.
- Add salt and sugar. Mix well.
- Add whisked egg and milk and mix to form a smooth batter.
- Batter should be thick like a cake batter.
- Heat the skillet on low flame.
- Apply oil on the skillet using a brush.
- Pour the pan cake batter little by little to make small pancakes.
- Arrange 3 blueberries on top.
- Cover and cook on low flame until you see bubble on the surface and also the surface is not shiny anymore.
- Flip the pancakes, cover and cook for few more seconds.
- Serve immediately, topped with chocolate syrup, honey, maple syrup or whipped cream.
