Ingredients
- Chana dal 1 cup, soaked over night
- Onion 1 medium
- Green chilies 2-3
- Fresh coriander chopped
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Chat masala 1 tsp or more
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder to taste
- Turmeric powder
- Water as needed
- Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Preparation
- Heat oil in a wok.
- In a blender, add 1/2 onion, 1/2 green chili, ginger and garlic paste, cumin seeds, salt, red chili, turmeric and chat masala, and drained chana dal and blend until smooth and creamy. If needed, add little water to make a thick paste.
- Now add other half onion (chopped), chopped green chilies and coriander.
- Mix well, add baking soda and mix again.
- Add small dollops of batter in the oil, fry.
- Enjoy!
