Ingredients
- Onion medium sized 1/2
- Green chilies 2
- Fresh Mint 1 handful
- Fresh Coriander 2 handful
- Brown sugar 3/4 tsp
- Black salt 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind paste (imli paste) 2-3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Cumin powder 3/4 tsp
- Boiled Potatoes 2 medium
- Drinking Water 1 cup or as needed
Preparation
- Add onion, green chilies, fresh mint, fresh coriander, brown sugar, black salt and tamarind paste to a chopper and chop coarsely.
- If needed, you can add 4-5 tbsp water at this stage to facilitate chopping.
- Take the mixture out of the chopper out into a mixing bowl.
- Mash potatoes using you hands into chunks. Add to the tamarind mixture. Mix and add salt, cumin powder, mix and add water as needed.
- Give a stir and serve with your favourite fried chicken or fish.
