Ingredients
Chicken Filling
- Onion 1, finely chopped
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Green bell pepper 1, finely chopped
- Chicken 200-250 grams, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Paprika powder 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp ore to taste
- Pizza sauce (You can also use Tomato ketchup) 2 tbsp
Other ingredients
- Bread slices 20
- Cheese slices 10
- Mozzarella cheese 1 cup or as needed
- Oregano as needed
Preparation
- Heat oil in a pan and add onions, stir fry for 2 minutes until soft.
- Add green bell pepper and stir fry until Vibrant in color (2 minutes).
- Add chicken pieces, salt, coriander, paprika and black pepper powder.
- Cook for 1 minute.
- Add pizza sauce or ketchup. Mix and cook until the mixture is dry.
- Preheat oven at 220
- Arrange 10 bread slices in a baking tray.
- Place chicken filling on the slices. Spread evenly and place cheese slice on each bread.
- Top with another bread slice to make a sandwich. Press firmly in place.
- Top the sandwich with mozzarella cheese and oregano.
- Bake at 220 for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
- Cut into triangles and serve immediately.
