Chicken Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • Whole chicken 1.2 kg or more, skin removed
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Orange food coloring 1/4 tsp
  • Tandoori Masala 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Yogurt 1/4 cup

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
  2. Clean, wash and pat dry the chicken.
  3. Apply all over the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.
  4. In a pot, add 3-4 tbsp of oil and place the chicken along with its marination.
  5. When the marination starts to bubble, turn the flame to low and cover the pot with lid.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes on each side (or until well done).
  7. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
