Chicken Pot Roast
Ingredients
- Whole chicken 1.2 kg or more, skin removed
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Orange food coloring 1/4 tsp
- Tandoori Masala 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 1 tsp
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Yogurt 1/4 cup
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
- Clean, wash and pat dry the chicken.
- Apply all over the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.
- In a pot, add 3-4 tbsp of oil and place the chicken along with its marination.
- When the marination starts to bubble, turn the flame to low and cover the pot with lid.
- Cook for 20 minutes on each side (or until well done).
- Serve immediately. Enjoy!
