Chicken Shami Kebab
Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken cut into cube 500-gram
- Chopped fresh coriander stems 1 Tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 Tsp
- Ginger paste 1 Tsp
- Potatoes 2
- Green chilies chopped 3 (or to taste)
- Salt 1 Tsp
- Onion chopped 1 Medium sized
- Chickpea lentils / channa daal (soaked for at least 4 hours) 1/3 cup
- Potato, peeled and cubed 1
- Cumin powder 1 Tsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ Tsp
Preparation:
- Add all the ingredients in a pressure cooker along with the chicken and cook until done.
- Mash up the mixture and then shape into kebabs.
- Coat with beaten egg.
- Fry and serve hot.
Note:
- The recipe is for 10 – 12 shami kebabs.
