Ingredients
For Bread
- Plain flour 1.5 cup
- Instant yeast 1/2 tbsp
- Sugar 1/2 tbsp
- Milk powder 1 + 1/2 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Luke warm water 1/2 cup or a little more
For Stuffing
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Chopped Onion 4 tbsp
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Chicken 1 cup, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Paprika powder 1 tsp
- Oregano 1 tsp
- Soy sauce 1-2 tbsp
- Chili sauce to taste
- Chopped red bell pepper 4 tbsp
- Chopped green bell pepper 4 tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
Topping
- Egg yolk 1 mixed with 1 tbsp water
- White sesame seeds
- Black sesame seeds
Preparation
- Knead the dough using all the ingredients mentioned under dough.
- Allow to rise until double in size.
- In a pan, add oil, onion. Cook until soft.
- Add ginger and garlic paste and chicken pieces. Cook for a few minutes and add salt, black pepper, paprika powder, oregano and green and red bell peppers. Saute for a few minutes.
- Lastly add soy sauce and chili sauce and cook until there is no more moisture in the stuffing.
- Stuffing is ready! Allow to cool to room temperature and then add mozzarella cheese and mix.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Take the dough, deflate it and divide the dough into 8 parts.
- Fill each part with the stuffing and shape into a ball and arrange on a greased baking pan.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake at 200°C for 10-12 minutes or until golden on the top.
