Chutney Alu Sabzi
Ingredients
- Fresh mint leaves 2 handfuls
- Fresh coriander 1 handful
- Green chilies 2-3 or to taste
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Hard boiled potatoes 500-700 grams
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder 3/4 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Green chilies for garnishing
Preparation
- Blend together mint, coriander, green chilies and yogurt into a smooth paste. Chutmey sauce is ready. Keep aside.
- In a pot l, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
- Allow to crackle and add potatoes. Saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add salt, cumin powder and turmeric powder. Saute for 2-3 minutes and add the chutney sauce.
- Cook on medium flame or high if you don’t bother cilurdled yogurt, until the water has evaporated.
- Garnish with chilies and serve with fresh roti.
