Cloud Corn Fritters
Ingredients
- Sweet Corn (Boiled/Frozen/canned) 1 cup, roughly chopped
- Garlic Cloves 2 chopped
- Fresh Coriander 2 tbsp, chopped
- Green chilies 1-2 chopped
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Egg 1
- All-purpose flour 1 cup
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- In a bowl, add drained corn, garlic, coriander, green chilies, lemon juice, egg, salt, pepper, garam masala and baking powder and give it a mix.
- Add all purpose flour (do not add all- add a little less than 1 cup). Mix to form a dough like mixture.
- Grease your palms with oil and shape the mixture into thin patties.
- Shallow fry in oil for 4-5 minutes or until cooked through.
- NOTE: Do not over cook otherwise the patties will not be having a cloud life smooth texture.
- Serve immediately with ketchup. Enjoy!
