Creamy Green Pasta
Ingredients
- Uncooked paste 400 grams
- Onion, 1 big, chopped
- Garlic cloves 4, sliced
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Peas 2 cups
- Fresh mint leaves 2 handfuls
- Green chili 1-2
- Chicken cubes 2 (optional)
- Salt to taste
- White pepper to taste
- Fresh cream 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Cook paste according to the package instructions. Drain, run tap water over it and set aside.
- Heat oil in a vessel and add onions and garlic. Saute until soft.
- Add peas (frozen or fresh) and cook until the peas are fully cooked.
- Now transfer half of the mixture to a blender and add mint leaves and green chili. Add a little water and blend into a smooth paste.
- Transfer the blended paste back into the peas and onion mixture. Adjust the consistency by adding water and bring to a boil.
- Add chicken cubes, salt and white pepper powder and cook on a very low flame for 2 minutes.
- Now add fresh cream and cook for 1 minute.
- Add cooked pasta and mix until the paste is warmed up.
- Paste is ready. Garnish with cooked peas or fresh mint.
- Serve hot!
