Crunchy Hash Browns without Eggs
Ingredients
- Potatoes 2 biggest ever 😁extra large size
- Ice cold water
- Corn flour 4 tbsp
- Baking powder 1/4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Onion powder 1.5 tsp
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- Peel and grate potatoes and soak in ice cold water for 15 minutes.
- Now drain the water as much as possible until potatoes are completely dry.
- Add corn flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper and onion powder and mix well.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes until the mixture is a little bit moist.
- Heat oil on low flame in a frying pan.
- Shape the hash browns and add to the oil. NOTE: If the liquid is too much in potatoes, drain then while shaping the hashbrowns.
- Fry until inside is cooked. Now turn the flame high. When the potatoes turn golden, take them out and enjoy!
