Dessert Style French Toast
Ingredients
- Bread slices 2
- Egg 1
- Milk 6 tbsp
- Sugar to taste
- Oil for frying 4 tbsp
- Vanilla powder/essence 1/2 tsp
Topping
- Chocolate syrup of your choice
- Fresh cream
- Fresh cut up fruit (I used strawberries, blueberries and kiwi)
Preparation
- Whisk together egg, milk, sugar and vanilla.
- Dip the bread slices one by one.
- Add to the oiled frying pan and cook on medium to low heat
- Flip once or twice and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Take out on a plate and drizzle some fresh cream and chocolate syrup.
- Serve with fresh chopped fruit.
- Enjoy!
