Dessert Style French Toast

Ingredients

  • Bread slices 2
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 6 tbsp
  • Sugar to taste
  • Oil for frying 4 tbsp
  • Vanilla powder/essence 1/2 tsp

Topping

  • Chocolate syrup of your choice
  • Fresh cream
  • Fresh cut up fruit (I used strawberries, blueberries and kiwi)

Preparation

  1. Whisk together egg, milk, sugar and vanilla.
  2. Dip the bread slices one by one.
  3. Add to the oiled frying pan and cook on medium to low heat
  4. Flip once or twice and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Take out on a plate and drizzle some fresh cream and chocolate syrup.
  6. Serve with fresh chopped fruit.
  7. Enjoy!
