Easy Nutella Recipe without Hazelnuts
Ingredients
- Almonds 3/4 cup
- Sugar 3 tbsp
- Cocoa powder 1/2 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Cooking Chocolate (You can use chocolate chips or Cadbury)
Preparation
- Soak almonds in hot water for 5 minutes and remove the skin.
- Toast the almond on low flame until golden and crunchy.
- In a blender, add sugar and blend until powdered.
- Add cocoa powder and blend.
- Now add the toasted almond (No need to cool them down) and keep blending until fine powder is formed.
- Now add Oil and blend for 12-15 minutes, turning off the blender every 2-3 minutes and scraping off the sides until the mixture changes from powder to a smooth creamy paste.
- When the paste is fine and runny, turn of the blender.
- Melt the cooking chocolate and add to the blender. Blender for 2-3 more minutes until shiny and creamy.
- Transfer to a bottle and store at room temperature for up to 1 month.
