Ingredients
- Boneless fish 700 grams
- Gram flour/besan 1 cup
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Green chilies 1-2, finely chopped
- Turmeric powder 3/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Dried fenugreek 2 tsp
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Egg 1
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Cut the fish into 2×2 inch pieces. Wash and pat dry.
- In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well.
- Add water and mix until thick consistency like pancake batter is reached.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Coat the fish pieces in the batter and add to the oil.
- Fry for 5-6 minutes until the coating is golden brown.
- Take out on a paper towel.
- Enjoy with tamarind chutney!
