Frittata – Quick, Easy and Healthy Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 3, medium sized
  • Onion 1 big, chopped
  • Red bell pepper 1/2, chopped
  • Green bell pepper 1/2, chopped
  • Eggs 4-5
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp

 

Preparation

  1. Wash, peel and grate the potatoes.
  2. Soak them in tap water for 15 minutes.
  3. Drain the water, place the grated potatoes in a muslin cloth and squeeze out all the liquid. Transfer the potatoes to a bowl.
  4. Add chopped onions, red bell pepper and green bell pepper.
  5. Crack eggs and add to the mixture.
  6. Add salt, black pepper powder, and garlic powder and whisk well.
  7. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan on the lowest possible flame and add the egg mixture.
  8. Cover and cook until the sides of the eggs are golden brown.
  9. Now flip the frittata using a greased plate (watch the video below to see the technique) and cook on the other side.
  10. Frittata is ready. Sprinkle some spring onions and serve with some ketchup. Enjoy!
