Ingredients
Ingredients for Tikka base
- Chicken 500 g
- Thick Yogurt 3 tbsp
- Brown onion 1 tbsp
- Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coconut flakes 1 tsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Green colour
- Coriander leaves a handful
- Mint Leaves a handful
- Green chillies 2 to 3
- Green colour 4-5 drops
Preparation
- Cut the chicken into 1.5-inch cubes. Keep in a separate bowl.
- In a chopper, add all the ingredients of tikka base and ingredients for green color and chop as fine as possible.
- Important Note: Do not add any water while chopping.
- Add this marination to the chicken. Mix well, cover and allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
- Next day, arrange the chicken pieces on skewers.
- Apply oil on the griller and grill until cooked well.
- Enjoy with roti and mint yogurt raita.
