Hot Butter Chicken [ Air Fryer Recipe]
Ingredients
- Chicken leg pieces [skin on] 1 kg
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Paprika powder 1.5 tsp
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
Hot Honey Butter Sauce
- Hot sauce 1/2 cup
- Honey 1/2 cup
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Melted Butter 1/2 cup
Preparation
- In a large bowl whisk together oil, salt, black pepper powder, paprika powder and garlic powder.
- Add chicken legs and toss to coat fully. Allow to marinate for 1 hour.
- Arrange the leg pieces in air fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 200°C.
- While the chicken legs are cooking, make hot honey butter sauce. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together melted Butter, hot sauce, honey and salt. Taste and add more salt if desired.
- After 15 minutes open the air fryer and brush the hot honey butter sauce on the leg pieces.
- Reduce the temperature to 170°C and bake for another 5-8 minutes, or until wings are cooked through.
- Serve immediately with any extra sauce on the side for dipping!
