Hummus 1
Hummus is a Mediterranean dip made with chickpeas pureed into a fine paste along with all the spices and olive oil. We love hummus and make it often. I use it with fries, fried chicken, chips, vegetables and plain roti.
Ingredients:
- Boiled Chick peas 1 cup
- Tahini Paste 1½ tablespoons
- Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Cumin Powder ½ teaspoon
- Garlic Paste ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Water ¼ to ½ Cup or as needed
preparation:
- In a blender, blend together boiled chickpeas, salt, zeera powder, lemon juice, garlic paste, olive oil, and tahini paste.
- Add water as required to make a very smooth paste.
- Garnish with olive oil and serve! Enjoy!
