Imli Hari Chutney (Spicy Tamarind Green Chutney)

Ingredients

  • Fresh coriander, big bunch
  • Fresh mint leaves, big bunch, stems removed
  • Garlic cloves 3-4
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Green chilies 3-4
  • Salt to taste
  • Thick tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  1. Add garlic cloves, coriander leaves, mint leaves, cumin seeds and green chilies to the blender.
  2. Add a little water and blend to a smooth, thick paste.
  3. Now take out in a container and add tamarind pulp and salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for 7-10 days or freeze up to 2 months in a zip lock container.
  6. Serve with your favorite fried item and enjoy!
