Instant Qeema Kabab Recipe |Yummy Chicken Kebabs Recipe
Ingredients
- Chicken/mutton/beef mince 500 grams ( I have used chicken mince)
- Eggs 2 (1 raw and 1 scrambled)
- Onion 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomatoes 2 medium, chopped (seeds removed)
- Green chilies 2-3 chopped
- Salt 1 tsp or to taste
- Red chili flakes 3/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 1/4 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Breadcrumbs 2-3 tbsp
- Fresh coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, beat one egg and add to the pan. Cook slightly. Do not completely cook it. Allow it to cool completely.
- In a bowl, add chicken to a bowl and add the cooled scrambled egg.
- Beat another egg and add half of it to the mince. If you are using red meat then add the full egg.
- Add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes (without seeds), green chilies and coriander leaves chopped.
- Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Refrigerate for half an hour.
- NOTE: If you keep the mixture for too long or overnight, the tomatoes will release water and make the kababs soggy, and they will break while frying. You can even shape the patties and place them on a tray and freeze for half an hour so they firm up. Then proceed to fry them directly from the freezer. This helps maintain their shape.
- Shape into patties and shallow fry.
- Serve hot with roti and chutney.
- Enjoy!
