ITALIAN ONE POT PASTA​

Italian One Pot Pasta

Ingredients:

  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Onion 1 Large
  • Chicken breasts 2 Large
  • Garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red or green bell pepper 1
  • Worcestershire sauce 4 tablespoons
  • Tomato puree 5 tablespoons
  • Chopped tomatoes 1 Can
  • Milk 1 Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Tabasco sauce to taste
  • Pasta 1 Packet  
  • 400 g uncooked pasta – such as spirally or any other pasta you like
  • Dried oregano 1 Tablespoon
  • Chicken cubes 2
  • Cheddar/Mozzarella cheese grated
  • Chopped chives 1 tablespoon

 

preparation:


  1. Chop the onions finely.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent.
  3. Cut chicken breast into thin strips.
  4. Add the chicken and cook until color changes on high heat.
  5. Cut the capsicum into thin strips and add the garlic paste and capsicum to the chicken.
  6. Stir it for a few seconds and add worcestershire sauce, tomato paste and the can of tomatoes.
  7. Add milk, salt, pepper and tabasco sauce. Taste and adjust to your likening.
  8. Cook for 2 mins and then add the uncooked pasta.
  9. Add water or chicken stock to cover the pasta.
  10. Cover the pot and cook on medium heat until the pasta is cooked.
  11. Serve hot. Enjoy!
