Juicy Chicken Burger Recipe
Ingredients
Ingredients for the chicken patty
- Chicken mince
- Onion 1 small or half medium sized, finely chopped
- Capsicum 1/2 , finely chopped
- Black olives, sliced
- Salt 3/4 tsp or to taste
- Chili Sauce 2 tbsp or more
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Breadcrumbs 3-4 tbsp
Other Ingredients
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Cheese slices
- Tomato
- Pickled Jalapenos
- Lettuce leaves
- Burger buns
Preparation
- In a bowl, add the chicken mince, chopped onion and capsicum, salt, chili sauce, garlic powder, black olives and breadcrumbs.
- Mix well and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes so that the breadcrumbs absorb the excess moisture from the mixture.
- Grease your hands with oil, shape the mince into thick patties and shallow fry until done.
- Turn the flame low and put cheese slices on the chicken patties. Cover for 2-3 minutes until the cheese has melted. Take out on a plate.
- Heat the upper rod of the oven (Broiler) and start assembling the burger.
- Cut the buns in half. Apply ketchup on the bottom bun. Put sliced tomatoes and jalapenos.
- Top with patties and some lettuce. Apply some mayonnaise on the top bun and place on the burger.
- Heat the burgers in the oven for 1-2 minutes until crunchy.
- Serve immediately!
