Ingredients
- Potatoes 2 medium
- Plain flour 1/2 cup
- Corn flour 1/4 cup
- Green chilies chopped 1-2
- Fresh coriander chopped 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Chat masala 3/4 tsp
- Water 1-2 tbsp, if needed
- Oil for frying
Preparation
- Peel and grate the potatoes lengthwise using thick side of the grater.
- Transfer the grated potatoes to a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes.
- Now squeeze out all the water from the grated potatoes.
- Put the grated potatoes into a mixing bowl and add green chilies, fresh coriander, salt, red chili and turmeric powder, garam masala and chat masala.
- Mix and add corn flour and plain flour. Mix well. If the mixture is too dry, add a little bit of water to form a pakora like consistency.
- Add the pakoras to the hot oil using a fork.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Take out and enjoy with your favorite chutney.
