Lauki k Kebab
Ingredients
- Lauki 250 grams, cut into big chunks
- Chana dal 1/2 cup, soaked overnight
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbap
- Water 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder to taste
- Turmeric powder 3/4 tsp
- Garam masala 3/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Green cardamoms 3
- Cloves 3
- Bay leaf 1
- Bread slices 3-4
- Fresh chopped coriander 3 tbsp
- Fresh green chilies 1-2 sliced
Preparation
- Drain the soaked dal and add to the pressure cooker.
- Add laukin chunks alongwith all the powdered and whole spices and 1 cup water.
- Pressure cook for 4 whistles on medium flame.
- Allow the preaaure to release on its own.
- Open the pressure cooker. Turn on the flame and dry out any water if left. Mash the lauki and dal while drying the water.
- Now take oyt the mixture in a bowl.
- Grind the fresh slices of bread and add to the mixture. Mix and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Now shape into kebabs.
- Grill on tawa with very little oil until crunchy on both sides. No need to shallow or deep fry.
