Ingredients
Dough
- All-purpose flour 2 cups
- Salt 3/4 tsp
- Oil 1/3 cup
- Warm water as needed
Stuffing
- Boneless Chicken 200 grams
- Salt to taste
- Paprika powder 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder 3/4 tbsp
- Onion 1 small sized
- Fresh coriander 1 handful
Preparation
- Dough: Add oil and salt in the flour until well combined.
- Add warm water and knead until the dough is soft and smooth.
- Cover and allow to rest for 30 minutes.
- Stuffing: Chop together onion and fresh coriander in a chopper.
- Add salt, paprika powder, black pepper powder and cumin powder and chop until the chicken pieces are finely minced.
- Divide the flour dough into 4 balls.
- Take 1 ball and roll into paper thin roti.
- Place a bowl at the centre of the roti upside down and cut the remaining roti into 6 parts.
- Apply a thinnest layer of mince on the pieces and place over one another. Now roll to flatten a bit. Please watch the video below for the complete process.
- Cook just like you cook paratha but on a very low flame so that the mince inside cooks thoroughly.
- Lastly brown the pie on both sides.
- Cut into 4 pieces and enjoy!
