Lemon Pepper Drumsticks
Ingredients
For Coating:
- Chicken Legs 1/2 kg
- Baking Powder 1.5 tsp [I used measuring spoon]
- Salt 1/4 tsp
For Glaze:
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Lemon juice 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
Preparation
- Clean and wash the chicken legs. Pat dry to remove any water.
- Add the chicken legs to a bowl and add baking soda and salt. Mix well.
- Transfer to the air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes at 180 *C. Make sure to check in between and change sides for even cooking.
- In the meantime, take a small pan, melt butter, add lemon juice, salt and black pepper powder.
- Cook until the glaze thickens a little bit.
- Take the drum sticks out and pour the glaze on top.
- Serve hot! Enjoy!
NOTE1 : Baking Instructions for oven. Preheat the oven to 180* Celsius. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180* C.
NOTE 2: Baking powder helps to dehydrate the chicken making it crunchy on the outside and juicy and succulent inside.
NOTE 3: Baking powder does not give any taste, its just for dehydrating. But please DO NOT use baking soda it will ruin the taste and won’t dehydrate the chicken.
