Ingredients
- Fresh coriander or parsley 2 handfuls
- Fresh mint 2 handfuls
- Radish leaves 1 big bunch
- Spring onions 1 big bunch
- Green chilies 2-3 or to taste
- Salt 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
- Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
- Wheat dough balls 6
- Oil as needed
Preparation
- Wash all the leaves and drain all the water using a salad spinner. Alternatively, pat them dry with kitchen towel. No water is allowed in this recipe 🙂
- Chop fresh coriander, fresh mint, radish leaves, spring onions and green chilies in a chopper without adding water.
- Take out the stuffing and add salt, cumin powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Mix well and divide into 6 parts.
- Roll the dough ball into a thin roti and place one part of stuffing on one side of the roti as shown in the video.
- Place the other half of the roti on the stuffing and press it using fingers to seal the sides.
- Place the D-shaped roti on tawa and cook on both sides.
- Apply oil on both sides and cook until golden brown.
- Enjoy with omelette or plain yogurt.
