My Secret Vanilla Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients
- Plain flour 240 grams
- Salt 2 pinches
- Baking powder 3 tsp
- Oil 50 grams
- Butter 100 grams, at room temperature
- Sugar 120 grams
- Yogurt 120 grams, at room temperature
- Milk 120 grams, at room temperature
- Eggs 3 big (exact weight is 170 grams) , at room temperature
- Vanilla 2 tsp
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 150˚C.
- In a bowl, sift the plain flour. Add salt and baking powder. Mix and keep aside.
- In another bowl, add oil and butter, whisk until combined.
- Add sugar and whisk until combined.
- Add yogurt and whisk until combined. Then add milk and vanilla essence and again whisk until combined.
- Add eggs one by one and whisk until combined.
- Line baking tin with cupcake liners.
- Fill 3/4th with the batter.
- Bake at 150˚C for 15-20 minutes, check with toothpick after 15 minutes. Take out if done, otherwise bake for 5 more minutes.
