Ingredients
- Plain flour (maida) 4 cups
- Salt 1 tsp
- Baking powder 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Water 3/4 cup ( or more if needed)
Preparation
- To the plain flour, add salt, baking powder and mix.
- Add yogurt and water and knead the dough until smooth and lump free.
- Dough should be soft but not sticky.
- Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Next, divide the dough into 10 parts and roll them into balls.
- Dusting with plain flour, knead the balls into ½ cm thick flat disc.
- Heat skillet and place the discs and cook on both sides on medium to low heat.
- Naan bread is done!
- Enjoy with your favourite dal or BBQ.
