Ingredients
- Chicken karai cut 1 kg
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Ginger 2 inch
- Garlic 1 full head
- Tomatoes 4-5
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Green chilies 4-5
Preparation
- In a wok add oil and chicken pieces.
- Fry on high for 5-7 minutes until golden from outside.
- Grate or make paste of ginger and garlic and add to the chicken.
- Cook on high until the ginger and garlic are cooked.
- Add chopped tomatoes, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cover and cook fon medium to low for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is well cooked and oil has separated from the gravy.
- Sprinkle garam masala and coriander powder and green chilies and mix.
- Turn the flame off.
- Serve with roti or naan.
