Ingredients
- Uncooked pasta 1 packet (400 grams)
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Onion 1 big, chopped
- Garlic cloves 3
- Tomatoes 3-4, chopped or 1 tomato can
- Chicken mince 500 grams (or any other mince)
- Salt 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 3/4 tsp
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Carrot 1, finely chopped
- Bell pepper 1, finely chopped
- Water to cover the pasta
- Oregano 1 tbsp
- Basil 1/2 tbsp
- Paprika powder 1 tsp
Preparation
- Heat oil and add chopped onions and chopped garlic. Sauté until slightly golden.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft. If using tomato can then skip this step.
- Add chicken mince, salt, cumin powder and black pepper powder. Mix and break the chicken mince into small pieces. Add a little water if needed.
- Now cook the mince and bhunify until the chicken mince is fully cooked and has no raw smell.
- Add finely chopped carrots and bell pepper and cook until carrots are little soft.
- Now add tomato can, uncooked pasta and enough water to completely cover the pasta.
- Mix and add oregano, basil and paprika powder. Mix.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is fully cooked. You can add more water during the cooking process.
- Pasta is ready when the water has fully absorbed by pasta.
- Tasty qeema pasta is ready. Enjoy!
