Preparation
- Prepare dough by adding all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix and add oil.
- Without mixing the oil, add luke warm water as needed to form a soft dough. Knead the dough for 7-10 minutes or until smooth.
- Cover and allow to rise until doubled in size.
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Add oil to a sauce pan. To this add onion, ginger and garlic, green chilies, bell pepper and saute for a few minutes until onions are soft.
- Add shredded chicken, salt, black pepper, paprika powder and soy sauce and saute for 2 minutes.
- In a cup mix milk and corn flour and add to the chicken. Cook on low until the corn flour thickens. Filling is ready.
- Deflate the dough and roll into 1/2 cm thick sheet.
- Oil your baking pan. I used 10 inch pan.
- Place the dough in the pan and arrange properly. Use fork to poke holes in the dough.
- Apply pizza sauce and spread chicken filling on top.
- Arrange sliced bell pepper on top.
- Whisk egg and salt and pour on top (best alternative to cheese).
- Oven: Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-12 minutes.
- Stovetop: Heat tawa o medium flame until super hot. Now turn the flame to lowest possible setting (dum wala flame) and place the pizza on tawa. Cover with a frying pan and bake on lowesst flame for 20-25 minutes.
- Enjoy!
