Perfect Chicken Shami Kebab (without Resha)

Ingredients

  • Chicken 1.5 kg boneless
  • Daal Chana 2 cups, soaked overnight (you can add more or less dal, your choice)
  • Onion 1 big
  • Ginger paste 1.5 tbsp
  • Gralic paste 1.5 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander stems 1 handful
  • Green chilies to taste
  • Potato 1 big
  • Salt to tatse
  • Red chili powder to taste
  • Turmeric powder
  • Garam masala 1 tsp heaped
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp heaped
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp heaped
  • Green cardamoms 4
  • Black cardamoms 2
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon sticks 3-4
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Star anise 2
  • Cloves 4-5
  • Black peppercorns 8-10

Preparation

  1. Put everything except fresh coriander and green chilies.
  2. Add a little water and pressure cook for 3 whistles at low.
  3. Dry the water completely.
  4. Add fresh coriander leaves and green chilies.
  5. Mix and shape into kebabs.
  6. Enjoy!
