Perfect Chicken Shami Kebab (without Resha)
Ingredients
- Chicken 1.5 kg boneless
- Daal Chana 2 cups, soaked overnight (you can add more or less dal, your choice)
- Onion 1 big
- Ginger paste 1.5 tbsp
- Gralic paste 1.5 tbsp
- Fresh coriander stems 1 handful
- Green chilies to taste
- Potato 1 big
- Salt to tatse
- Red chili powder to taste
- Turmeric powder
- Garam masala 1 tsp heaped
- Coriander powder 1 tsp heaped
- Cumin powder 2 tsp heaped
- Green cardamoms 4
- Black cardamoms 2
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Cinnamon sticks 3-4
- Bay leaves 2
- Star anise 2
- Cloves 4-5
- Black peppercorns 8-10
Preparation
- Put everything except fresh coriander and green chilies.
- Add a little water and pressure cook for 3 whistles at low.
- Dry the water completely.
- Add fresh coriander leaves and green chilies.
- Mix and shape into kebabs.
- Enjoy!
