Ingredients for 4 parathas
- Potato 4, boiled, peeled and mashed
- Onion 1/2, chopped
- Green chilies 2-3, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder optional
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Chat masala 1 tsp
Preparation
- Mix together mashed potatoes, chopped onion, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, chat masala and chopped green chilies.
- Mix well.
- Roll a roti and place 1/4th of the potato mixture in the middle.
- Shape the roti into a ball.
- Roll again and place on a hot tawa.
- Cook the parathas the usual way using desi ghee or oil.
- Enjoy!
