Ready to use Pakora Mix
Ingredients
- Gram flour 6 cups (600 grams)
- Salt 5 teaspoons (more or less as per your liking)
- Red chili powder 1.5 teaspoons or to taste
- Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder 2 teaspoons
- Coriander powder 6 teaspoons
- Cumin powder 4 teaspoons
- Yellow food color 1/4 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1 teaspoon
- Carom seeds (Ajwain) 1 teaspoon, crushed coarsely
- Baking soda 1/2 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds 2.5 teaspoons, crushed coarsely
- Coriander Seeds 6 teaspoons, crushed coarsely
- Corn flour 3/4 cup
- Baking soda 3/4 tsp
Preparation
- Sift the gram flour. Add all the ingredients. Mix and transfer to an airtight container in fridge or freezer if the baisan goes bad, otherwise store at room temperature.
- When needed, add little water to make thick paste and add vegetables of your choice.
- Deep fry the pakoras and enjoy with chutneys.
