Red Velvet Cookies
Red Velvet White Chocolate Cookies are full of all the classic red velvet cake recipe flavors! A combination of creamy and crumbly texture, these red velvet cookies are a treat!
Ingredients:
- All-purpose Flour 1 + ¼ Cup
- Powdered Sugar (Icing Sugar) 1/3 Cup
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Butter 120 gm (should be softened at room temperature)
- Red food color 1 tablespoon(or as needed)
- Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla 1 tablespoon
preparation:
- In a bowl, sift the all purpose flour.
- Now sift Icing sugar and cocoa powder.
- Sifting ensures that there are no lumps in the cookie mixture.
- Mix all the dry ingredients.
- Add butter, red food color, vinegar and vanilla.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Keep in a refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180 *C.
- Roll the dough into 1 cm thickness.
- Cut out the cookies using a cookie cutter.
- Bake the cookies at 180 *C for 8-10 minutes or until the surface is not shiny anymore.
- Put on a wire rack to cool.
- Dip in some white chocolate for added flavor. Enjoy!
