Reshmi Imli Kebab

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken, 500 gm, cut into cubes
  • Onion 1 small
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Fresh coriander 1 small bunch
  • Green chilies 2-3 as per liking
  • Bread slices 2
  • Thick Tamarind paste 1 tbsp or more to taste
  • Fresh cream 1 tbsp
  • Sal to taste
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp

Preparation

  1. Add onion, ginger, garlic, fresh coriander and green chilies to a chopper and chop finely.
  2. Add bread slices and chop.
  3. Take out in a a mixing bowl and add chicken pieces and chop until turned into fine mince.
  4. Add it to the onion mixture.
  5. Also add thick tamarind paste, fresh cream, salt, cumin powder, garam masala, black pepper powder and chat masala.
  6. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the bread absorbs all the moisture in the kebabs.
  7. Now shape the kebabs and shallow fry in a pan or grill on a griller.
  8. Enjoy!
