Ingredients
- Chicken breast 6
- Garlic cloves 7-8
- Ginger 2 inch
- Green chilies 3-4
- Fresh coriander handful
- Lemon juice of 2 lemons
- Oyster sauce 2 tbsp (optional)
- Soy sauce 6 tbsp (add 8 tbsp of soy sauce if you don’t have oyster sauce)
- Ketchup 6 tbsp
- Paprika powder 2 tbsp
- Chili flakes to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Oil 3 tbsp
Preparation
- In a chopper add garlic, ginger, green chilies and fresh coriander and chop finely.
- Transfer to a bowl, add lemon juice, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, paprika powder, chili flakes, black pepper powder, salt and oil. Mix well.
- Pound the chicken breast using a meat mallet.
- Slit the chicken as shown in the video.
- Apply the marination on the chicken breasts.
- Cover and allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
- Line an air fryer with a liner.
- Bake the chicken breasts at 195°C for 10 minutes on one side, then flip and bake for another 10 minutes at 195°C. Then flip again and apply the leftover marinade and bake for 3-5 minutes, depending on the need to make the chicken a little brown on the top.
- Enjoy with boiled rice and your favorite lentil soup.
Spicy Soy Sauce Chicken in Air Fryer
