Ingredients
- Chicken 1200 – 1500 grams, karahi cut style
- Ginger paste 1 .5 tsp
- Garlic paste 1.5 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp or to taste
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1.5 tsp
- Coriander powder 1.5 tsp
- Garam masala 1 tsp
- Dried fenugreek 1 tsp
- Paprika powder (or use Kashmiri red chili powder) 1 tsp
- Chili flakes 1/2 tsp or to taste
- Yogurt 4 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Oil for cooking

Preparation
- Clean, wash and drain the chicken pieces. Make sure there is no water left after washing. Keep aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek, paprika powder, chili flakes, yogurt, ketchup and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Add chicken pieces to it and mix well.
- Cover and allow to marinate for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.
- To cook, add few tablespoons of oil in a cooking pot or tawa. Add chicken pieces to it, cover and cook until the oil separates and chicken is cooked.
- Smoke the chicken with live charcoal. Serve immediately with mint chutney and enjoy!
