Ingredients

Mince Filling

  • Mutton mince (you can use beef/chicken too) 1 kg
  • Green chilies 3-4, chopped
  • Garlic cloves 2 big, chopped
  • Ginger 2 inch, chopped
  • Onion 1 medium, chopped
  • Fresh coriander 1 handful, chopped
  • Coriander seeds 1.5 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/3 tbsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1/3 tbsp

Dough

  • Plain flour (maida) 500 grams
  • Water 1 cup (250 ml), luke warm
  • Instant yeast 1.5 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp

Topping

  • Yogurt mixed with water 1-2 tbsp
  • Kalonji (Nigella seeds)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Butter
  • Chopped coriander
