Teriyaki Meatballs
Ingredients
- Chicken Mince 1/2 kg
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 1 tsp
- Soy sauce 1/4 cup
- Water 1 cup
- Brown Sugar 2 tbsp
- Chili sauce 3 tbsp
- Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
- Corn Flour 2tbsp + 1/2 cup water
- Spring onions chopped for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Preparation
- Mix chicken mince with salt and pepper and make 15-16 meatballs.
- Heat oil in a skillet and add ginger and garlic paste. Sauté until raw smell goes off.
- Add meatballs and cook on high heat until golden from the outside.
- When done, add soy sauce, brown sugar, water, chili sauce and sesame seeds.
- Cook for 10-13 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Mix corn flour with water to make a slurry.
- Add the slurry to the meatballs and stir continuously until the corn flour is cooked and the gravy is glossy.
- Dish out, sprinkle sesame seeds and spring onions.
- Serve immediately with boiled or Chinese rice. Enjoy!
