Unique Mango Delight
Ingredients
- Milk 1/2 litre
- Sugar 2 heaped tbsp
- Custard powder 2 heaped tbsp
- Dream whip 2 sachet + Milk 1 cup
- Mangoes 5
- Mango juice 200 ml, I used almarai brand
- Vanilla tea cake 1, sliced
- Plum 1, for decoration
Preparation
- In a pan, mix milk custard powder and sugar. Cook until the custrad is thick.
- Cover and allow to cool in refrigerator.
- Meanwhile, peel the mangoes. Finely chop 4 mangoes and blend one mango to make pulp. Keep aside.
- whisk dream whip and milk into thick cream.
- Add pulp and custard and whisk again until well combined.
- Layering: Layer cake slices in a serving dish.
- Pour mango juice on the cake slices and allow to absorb.
- Pour half of the the cream mixture.
- Layer with half of the chopped mangoes.
- Again layer with cake slices, juice, cream mixture and chopped mangoes.
- Decorate with chopped plums.
- Allow to cool and set in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
