Wheat Flour Brownie

Ingredients

  • Semi-sweet Chocolate chips 1 cup
  • Honey/Date syrup 1/3 cup
  • Eggs 2, room temperature
  • Wheat flour (aata) 1/3 cup

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or on a double boiler.
  3. In a bowl, add eggs and whisk well.
  4. Add date syrup/honey and mix to combine.
  5. Add wheat flour and again mix until there are no lumps.
  6. Lastly, add the melted chocolate chips and mix.
  7. Add the brownie batter to a 9×9 inch baking tray lined with a butter paper.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C (lower rod only).
  9. Allow to cool to room temperature before slicing.
  10. Enjoy with tea or coffee.
  11. NOTE: If you are using milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate, then add less honey otherwise the brownie will be too sweet.
