Ingredients
- Semi-sweet Chocolate chips 1 cup
- Honey/Date syrup 1/3 cup
- Eggs 2, room temperature
- Wheat flour (aata) 1/3 cup
Preparation
- Preheat the oven at 180°C.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or on a double boiler.
- In a bowl, add eggs and whisk well.
- Add date syrup/honey and mix to combine.
- Add wheat flour and again mix until there are no lumps.
- Lastly, add the melted chocolate chips and mix.
- Add the brownie batter to a 9×9 inch baking tray lined with a butter paper.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 180°C (lower rod only).
- Allow to cool to room temperature before slicing.
- Enjoy with tea or coffee.
- NOTE: If you are using milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate, then add less honey otherwise the brownie will be too sweet.
