BAZARI ALOO TIKKI

Ingredients
Eggs 2
hard boiled
Potato 2 medium sized
boiled
Onion 1 small
finely chopped
Green chilies 2-3 chopped
Coriander leaves 3-4 tbsp
chopped
Fresh mint leaves 3-4 tbsp
chopped
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Chat masala 1 teaspoon
COATING:
Gram flour (Baisan) 1 cup
Carom seeds (Ajwain) 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Chat masala 1 tablespoon
Instructions
Boil and peel the eggs and mash them as fine as possible.
Mash the boiled potato and add to the eggs.
Add chopped onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and lemon juice.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything well until it forms a nice dough like mixture.
Shape into small tikkis (patties/discs).
Take baisan (gram flour) and add carom seeds (ajwain), salt and chat masala.
Add enough water to the baisan to make a thick paste.
Heat oil in a wok. Dip tikkis in baisan and add to the wok. Deep fry until baisan is cooked.
In the meantime, heat a tawa/frying pan and place the tikkis on it. Cook from both sides until browned.
Serve immediately with your fav dipping sauce!
