Beetroot and Turnip Pickle

Ingredients
Beetroot 2-3 grated
Turnip 1
cut into strips
Vinegar 1/2 cup
Water 2 cups
Salt to taste
Instructions
In a pot add water, vinegar and salt.
Bring to boil.
Turn off the flame and allow the steam to escape.
In a pickling jar or mason jar add the beetroots and the turnips.
Pour the pickling liquid over it.
Keep the lid open and allow to come to room temperature.
Now close the lid and refrigerate.
Pickle is ready after 1 day.
Use within 3 weeks.
